I have been a certified Shiatsu Practitioner since 1997 when I graduated from the Boston Shiatsu School. I was first introduced to Shiatsu by a friend and I was immediately intrigued. It made so much sense - a holistic approach to health through bodywork from the perspective of Asian Medicine.

I maintained a private practice outside of Boston from 1997-2017.  I also offered Shiatsu sessions as part of integrative cancer care at The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden in Harvard, MA.  In September 2017 I moved to Nelson, BC where I now practice.

I bring to my practice an in-depth background in yoga, anatomy, dance, meditation and Buddhism.

I grew up in the Colorado Rockies, moved to the Himalayas of Nepal, raised my two children in Massachusetts and Tanzania and now live in the West Kootenays.
